It just came to my attention that the girl group created by Revolt TV founder Sean Combs is finally reuniting. This girl group is Danity Kane. Danity Kane has reunited with members Shannon Bex Aundrea Fimbres  Aubrey O’Day Dawn Richard with D Woods sitting on the sidelines. The group made their first appearance together singing an acapella version of their hit song; “Damaged” at the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2013 and yes the crowd went crazy!

The girl group first announced the reunion during the 2013 MTV VMAs pre-show, they are returning on their own terms without the man who formed them on MTV’s Making the Band 3. They also announced the name of their new single called, “Rage,” produced by The Stereotypes, the same producers who were responsible for Danity Kane’s biggest single to date, “Damaged”.

According to the International Business News Danity Kane’s comeback concert will happen on Dec. 16 at the House of Blues Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. Not to disappoint there fans from the east coast The girls have launched a contest to give VIP access for the show to a lucky fan who posts his or her favorite Danity Kane song on Twitter or Facebook, hash tag the post with “#DKLA.”

This reunion of Danity Kane pushed me to look into the solo careers of each member and found that they were all releasing some great music. All apart from Aundrea Fimbres have put out solo efforts that where critically acclaimed. I must say I for one am very happy that the girl group is back. Good luck to them and let’s hope the ego’s stay out this time. I guess that could be why D Woods was not invited back, maybe? Hmmm, well make sure to check out their social media pages and lets prep for a 2014 filled of Danity Kane.
